Polaroid ist eine traditionsreiche Marke aus dem Bereich der Fotografie, die vor allem durch Sofortbildkameras internationale Popularität erlangte und somit zum Gattungsnamen für Sofortbildfotografie wurde. Zu den unter der Marke vertriebenen Produkten zählten zeitweise auch Sonnenbrillen und verschiedene Artikel aus der Unterhaltungselektronik.
