Note
"The banknotes issued in 1848 and 1849 by the Hungarian Commercial Bank of Pest on behalf of the treasury of the revolutionary government and the National Defence Commission are called Kossuth banknotes (officially forint). After the outbreak of the War of Independence, these were in circulation in the areas of the country under Hungarian control. The currency was the krajcár, in a ratio of 1:60. After the defeat of the War of Independence, the Almásy banks were used" - (en.wikipedia.org 28.02.2024)
