Note
"Named in 1877 by A. A. Julien because Cymatolite had been immediately recognised as a variety of pihlite by Dana and Brush (1868).
The name Aglaite was also immediately recognised as no different than Cymatolite as both materials were wavy lamellar aggregates of Muscovite and Albite replacing Spodumene.
Originally described from Barrus Farm locality, Goshen, Hampshire Co., Massachusetts, USA." - https://www.mindat.org/min-54.html, 07.01.2022
