A majority of the people of Kermanshah are bilingual in Southern Kurdish and Persian, and the city is the largest Kurdish city in Iran.[10][11] Kermanshah has a moderate and mountainous climate.[12][13][14][15] Most of the inhabitants of Kermanshah are Shia Muslims, but there are also Sunni Muslims, Christians,[16] and followers of Yarsanism.[17][18] - Latitude
