"Christian Gottfried Hahn wurde am 24. Februar 1769 in Onstmettingen geboren. Er war einer der fünf Söhne von Philipp Matthäus Hahn. Nach dem Tod des Vaters im Jahre 1790 arbeiteten die Gebrüder Christian Gottfried und Christoph Matthäus Hahn in der Firma Gebrüder Hahn.
