- "Eucratides I (Greek: Εὐκρατίδης), (reigned 169–145 BC), commonly known as Eucratides the Great, was one of the most important Greco-Bactrian kings. He overthrew the Euthydemid dynasty of Bactria (possibly killing Demetrius I), and established the Helioclid dynasty. Eucratides fought against the easternmost Hellenistic rulers in India, temporarily holding territory in the Indus and as far as Barigaza until he was finally defeated and pushed back to Bactria. Eucratides had a vast and prestigious coinage, suggesting a rule of considerable importance. His son, Heliocles I was father of Heliocles II, who was the last Greek king to rule in Bactria, as Yuezhi and Saka nomads overran the country c.100 BCE." - (en.wikipedia.org 11.08.2021)
