He is also a renowned scientist and specialist in the field of cybernetics, systems analysis, big data mining and decision theory.He is a Scientific Supervisor of the Institute for Applied System Analysis (part of both Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine), former Ukrainian education minister.
